Travel & Stay
Everything you need to find your way to Memphis and settle in for the celebration.
Airports
Memphis International Airport
Your best bet — right in the city
MEM is the clear first choice. It offers nonstop flights from Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Charlotte, New York, Los Angeles, and dozens more cities. The terminal was recently modernized with updated dining and retail, and downtown is a quick drive away.
Nashville International Airport
Secondary option if fares are better
Nashville has more frequent international connections and may offer better pricing depending on your origin city. If you fly into BNA, a rental car is your most practical option — it's a straightforward drive west on I-40.
A Note on Chattanooga
Because Chattanooga is also in Tennessee, some guests assume it's a short drive to Memphis — it is not. Chattanooga sits at the far eastern edge of the state, and Memphis is all the way at the western edge.

Hotels Near Downtown Memphis
- Although Memphis is a beautiful city, it may be best to stay away from picking an Airbnb located in the deeper parts of the city. We would recommend either staying at a reputable brand-name hotel downtown, or looking at options in Germantown or Cordova, east of the city. Just keep in mind that Germantown and Cordova are further from the venue, so you'll want to plan for a ~30 minute drive on the wedding day.
- When searching for hotels or rentals, we'd recommend avoiding accommodations near Frayser, Whitehaven, Orange Mound, and Hickory Hill.
- If you're renting a car, please do not leave any valuables inside — not even in the trunk. Take everything with you when you park, especially overnight.
